This summer, I went to the picturesque port city of Bodrum for a 3-day weekend getaway. Bodrum is a town that beautifully blends the old and the new, offering a kaleidoscope of experiences for visitors seeking sun, sea, and a touch of history. For me, this trip was all about relaxation by the sea, visits to the beach clubs and restaurants, with one fancy dinner planned.

While not technically a dress, my “pineapple jumpsuit” (as I like to call it) gives out a dress like vibes. The jungle print, even though not my usual choice, proved to be a great option for the boat excursion. Pairing it with a wide-brimmed hat elevated the outfit, creating the ultimate summer look. Thanks to its stylish side cuts, the jumpsuit gave a breezy, flowing appearance, making it the ideal outfit for a day spent at sea.

Elegant Dinner

The initial dress I had planned and worn for this special evening was the two-tone dress. I firmly believe in dressing appropriately for the occasion. I even brought heels to ensure I met any restaurant’s dress code. However, as it turned out, Bodrum’s definition of “elegant” didn’t quite align with my own. Anticipating potential changes in our evening plans, I decided to switch to a pleated dress and flats. Pleats give the dress a more tailored look therefore allowing you to dress it up or down depending on the occasion or your mood. And the best part? It’s practically wrinkle-free. I ultimately chose it for the evening as it gives romantic vibes that perfectly complement the picturesque setting.

Beach Club

For a day at one of the Folie, Bodrum’s beach club, I opted for a casual yet flowy dress with side cuts, similar in design to the pleated dress. Its vibrant colors added a lively touch to my beachside look, keeping things fresh and fun throughout the day.
